Pacific Rim 2 will start shooting this November

They thought they cancelled the apocalypse, but all they did was push it back apparently. Pacific Rim’s sequel will start shooting in November, according to director Guillermo del Toro.

Pacific Rim 2 will start shooting this November

Shooting will take place at Pinewood Toronto Studios. It’s expected that it will continue well into next year.

Del Toro revealed at San Diego Comic Con that Pacific Rim 2 will be set a few years after the original and focuses on the Kaiju.

A report by Global News suggests that the movie’s working title is Maelstrom.

No casting information has been announced yet. It’s expected that Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Burn Gorman and Rinko Kikuchi will reprise their roles.

Pacific Rim 2 is expected to crash into cinemas on August 4th, 2017.
