VIDEO: Hackers remotely take control of moving vehicle with frightening ease

Using a 2014 Jeep Cherokee as their subject, hackers Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek demonstrate how the can hack into the vehicle through its entertainment system. From there they can remotely take control of the steering wheel, cut the brakes, turn on the windscreen wipers and even shut down the engine.

They decided to show off their powers during a live test in St Louis, as the host Andy Greenberg drives 70mph down the highway. The hackers, based ten miles away, tell Andy "no matter what happens, don't panic" - but after seeing this we might panic a little.
