VIDEO: Win a part in Star Trek Beyond and watch the crew dance

Star Trek Beyond is currently filming and you - yes YOU! - could win a walk on part and help charity at the same time.

It's all thanks to a partnership between the Star Trek production and Omaze.com and to tell you more here's just about everyone who is in Beyond being generally charming on the set. Stick around until the end for some very slick dance moves from... some of the folks involved.

Do you get the feeling that some people are more comfortable with making this video than others? And we couldn't help thinking Idris Elba might start talking about Sky Movie box sets at any moment.

The deal with Omaze is that you sign up and give as much as you can - starting at $10. That money will go directly to one of the nine charities listed and also comes with its own extra rewards, beyond the karmic ones. So for $10 you get a digital campaign badge and 100 entries into the wider draw with the top prize being a trip to the set in Vancouver and a walk-on part in the film. $25 dollars gets you a digital thank you card from the cast and 250 entries while $100,000 gets you a one of a kind replica captains chair and 1 million entries.

There's some other cool stuff as well, including t-shirts, posters, screenings and signed memorobilia. And as mentioned in the video a further six people will also win a behind the scenes trip to the set - they just won't get to suit up and go on camera. Strangely there's no ticker for how much is earned but there's 48 days left in the campaign and rewards will happen after that.
