Commodore smartphone will let you play classic videogames
The Commodore PET comes with two emulators, allowing owners to play classic Commodore 64 and Amiga games. It hasn’t been said if the emulators will take minutes to load games to truly give us a taste of the past.
The handset has a 5.5-inch display to enjoy these games on. It also features a 1.7GHz octa-core Mediatek processor, a 13-megapixel rear facing camera and a 3000 mAh battery.
There will be two variants: one with 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM, and one with 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM.
The 16GB model will cost around $300, while the 32GB model will cost approximately $365. Both come with a 32GB microSD card included.
Commodore will release the PET later this month in Italy, France, Germany, and Poland, with launches in other European countries and the US to follow.
