Star Wars: Battlefront won't support split-screen on PC

Star Wars: Battlefront Community Manager, Mathew Everett, revealed that the title will not support local split-screen on PC.

In a post that responded to community questions, Everett said that split-screen will only be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Star Wars: Battlefront’s non-competitive Missions mode supports offline and online co-op, but local split-screen will not be playable on PC.

Also regarding Missions, Everett said that “Playing Missions does not grant you multiplayer career experience, but it does provide you with credit rewards you can spend on buying unlocks.”

Everett promised that there’s lots more to talk about in the coming months. Expect to hear more about the likes of Supremacy, Fighter Squadron, Blast, Drop Zone, Cargo, and more in the near future.

Star Wars: Battlefront will be released on November 17th, 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
