VIDEO Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice new trailer is totally epic

Zack Snyder (Watchmen, Man of Steel) is bringing some real superhero royalty to the screen next year, with a film featuring both the man in the red cape and the man in the black armour. That's Batman v Superman.

The film is out in force at Comic Con in San Diego and they've shown off an all new trailer. It's a long one and also very, very good. Check it out here.

As we've heard, the clash between Batman and Superman is kicked off by the destructive power of the caped one. It seems people close to Bruce Wayne were in that building, one which belonged to Wayne enterprises, and this could actually be a scene from the climactic fight in Man of Steel.

We also get a proper look at some new players, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman (who seems very powerful) and Jessie Eisenberg being a weirdo as Lex Luthor. That's pretty likely to be a wig atop his head. Henry Cavill's superman still has to work for his boss Laurence Fishburne - who doens't want the Batman story covered. And don't forget Amy Adams is still in the mix as Superman's squeeze. Jeremy Irons will also bea ppearing as Alfred, he's got some good speechifying to do.

On the whole, it looks great - but it has to be remembered that director Snyder has never had a problem putting together a great trailer, it's the follow through which is the problem. Remember Sucker Punch? And in this case he has a lot of material to get through and two incredibly big characters to do justice to.
