The video reveals that Uprising will feature light action RPG gameplay, character creation, inventory management, and real-time co-op if you’d like to take on the adventure with friends.

Uprising is set within the Star Wars universe's new canon. It takes place in the remote Anoat Sector and tells the story of what happens after the Battle of Endor and the death of Emperor Palpatine.

While Star Wars: Uprising will be free-to-play, developer Kabam promises that there will be no paywalls of any kind and no pay-to-win mechanics. There will be no need to pay to continue playing.

Star Wars: Uprising will be released in September. Take a look at the video for gameplay from the game, though you should remember that it is alpha gameplay footage.
