VIDEO There's an Avenger in Ant-Man

Ant-Man is coming out soon, and it promises to be a much smaller movie than the overblown excess of something like Age of Ultron.

But that doesn't mean it won't have wider connections to the rest of the Marvel-verse. For one thing, it's pretty much a given that Ant-Man himself will end up being part of the Avengers crew in the not-so distant future. And it looks like he's going to get to meet at least one of the team in this film as well.

The latest TV spot for Ant-Man has a really blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment which references another Avenger. So go to 0.40 to check it out.

In case its still not clear (and it really is a quick moment) that really look like Paul Rudd's tiny Ant-Man hanging off the front of one of Falcon's guns. And the background with the wing-shaped blur pretty much confirms the fact. So it seems like Anthony Mackie's Falcon will at least be getting some kind of cameo in the film. Could other Avengers show up? We kind of hope they don't - it'd be nice to have a film which focusses on a single major character for a change, especially before the massive mashup which Captain America 3 promises to be.

Ant-Man is in cinemas on the 17th of July 2015.
