VIDEO Beast and Mystique get physical in new X-Men Rogue Cut scene

If you were a fan of X-Men Days of Future Past there's good news - you'll get to see more of it soon.

The Rogue Cut of the film is coming to home video later in July and its a pretty unique new perspective on the film. It reinstates key scenes featuring Anna Paquin (who was all but cut from the theatrical version) and adds a lot of new material including scenes with Ian McKellen and Jennifer Lawrence.

It's that actress who is the subject of today's clip, which shows her having an intimate moment with Beast, played by her offscreen boyfriend Nicholas Hoult. Check it out.

It's definitely a new addition to the film and it must be part of a bigger reinstated portion as it doesn't make much sense in terms of the timeline from the existing version, especially as it seems to take place after the Paris attack. It's a nice little moment which shows a layer to the relationship between these two mutants which hasn't really been explored on screen before, and its fitting as their characters grown older.

That said it's hardly explosive stuff, and at over a minute long its good chunk of the 18 minutes of extra footage which has been edited back into the film. We're hoping the rest of the additional content is a little more interesting.

X-Men Days of Future Past The Rogue Cut is coming to blu-ray and DVD on the 14th of July 2015.
