VIDEO Irish Game Developers speak - massive interview with local videogame makers

The Irish videogame development scene is a thriving one, with plenty of indie teams creating unique games and services which are often competing on a global scale. The team at Endlife Studios and director Geoff Newman decided to take some time to interview a slew of talented folks from across the industry about their experiences in 2014 and their hopes for 2015.

The lengthy video interview is now live as #IrishGameDev 2014. You'll hear from the likes of Gamesparks, Digital Furnace Games, Eoghan Kidney, DoomCube, Gambrinous, LoPoly Games, Pewter Games, Pocket Rainbow Studios and Tribal City Interactive in almost an hour of interviews.

Check out the video here.

That's a lot of information to comb through but everyone involved seems to have had an 'interesting' 2014 and has lots of hopes for what 2015 can bring. Director Newman has said that he's planning to do another video some time in 2015 so hopefully we'll get some updates on these developers and find out more about the Irish game-making scene.

Keep up with the Irish game scene here.
