Microsoft announces Gamescom 2015 plans

Microsoft will host its Gamescom conference on August 4th and will have a promising selection of games in attendance.

After skipping E3, Crackdown will be detailed for the first time properly. Platinum’s Xbox One exclusive Scalebound will be shown off. And Remedy (Alan Wake) will be along to demo more from its new time travel shooter, Quantum Break.

Microsoft teased that there will be a number of other surprises at the show. Place your bets now.

The console manufacturer isn’t holding back. Once again, the “See the greatest games lineup in Xbox history” tagline is being used. Expect to see plenty of Xbox One and Windows 10 titles showcased.

Microsoft’s Gamescom conference will take place on August 4th at 3pm GMT.

Its titles will have no competition for column inches or social media chatter; Sony is skipping a major presence at Gamescom in favour of Paris Games Week, which will be held from the 28th October until November 1st.
