Is this the first sign of the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact?

A new Sony handset has been outed on a benchmark website with the model number E5663. This could be the first hint of the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact.

The handset, according to the GFXBench listing, will have a 4.6-inch screen, just like the Xperia Z3 Compact before it. Unlike its predecessor, the screen will have a resolution of 1080p rather than 720p.

It is also listed as featuring an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 CPU and 3GB RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage, but it’s expected that you can use a microSD card to extend this further.
