VIDEO: James Cameron writes emotional tribute to Titanic and Avatar composer James Horner

Composer James Horner passed away this week at the age of 61. In a career spanning more than 30 years and over 100 films, he's been involved in multiple classic scores like Willow, Star Trek The Wrath of Kahn, Field of Dreams and the epic Braveheart.

But without doubt it was his collaborations with director James Cameron which defined his career - both in terms of the highs of Oscar recognition and the lows of intense working relationships and deadlines. They worked together on 1986's Aliens, Titanic in 1997 and Avatar in 2009 and were set to start on the Avatar sequels in the near future. With the sad loss of the composer, Cameron has spoken to Kim Masters at The Hollywood Reporterabout Horner and their work together.
