Mission Impossible Rogue Nation trailer - Tom Cruise does unconventional airtravel

Mission Impossible Rogue Nation is coming, and it's looking pretty action-packed.

It also has a lot of very clumsy baddies. Check out the new international trailer.

So this time around Cruise is going underwater for six minute takes, risking life and limb in chases of car and motorcycle and - of course - hanging off the side of an airplane as it actually takes off. Could these scenes have been created using CG? Probably. Do we repect the hell out of Cruise for doing them anyway? Definitely!

The film looks like it continues the fairly comedic tradition of the series which started to appear in Ghost Protocol, with Cruise's Ethan Hunt surrounded by a team which chiefly exists for a bit of comic relief. This time they include returning agents Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and Jeremy Renner. And there's also newcomer Rebecca Fergeson, who has some complicated allegiances.

In short, it's looking rather good.

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is due for release on the 31st of July 2015.
