Arnold Schwarzenegger now gives Waze directions

Arnold Schwarzenegger has lent his voice to social navigation app Waze to give turn-by-turn directions. That’s one navigator we won’t be in a rush to ignore.

He has teamed up with Waze to promote the upcoming Terminator: Genisys film. Waze will display cinemas showing Terminator: Genisys with a red-eyed Endoskull marking their whereabouts.

Meanwhile, Schwarzenegger will provide the usual navigation instructions, and will throw in catchphrases from time to time.

The actor said that the Terminator is the perfect machine to guide people to their destination. He added, “Every single day on social media fans ask me to record my movie lines, so now I get to bring this classic role and my charming Austrian accent into their cars."

Waze has used the likes of Kevin Hart and Terry Crews in the past. The Schwarzenegger voice pack will be available through mid-July, according to USA Today.

Terminator: Genisys opens in cinemas on July 2.
