Anna Kendrick will return for Pitch Perfect 3
The Hollywood Reporter says that both Kendrick and Wilson will appear in Pitch Perfect 3, which will be released on July 21st, 2017. Expect Hailee Steinfeld to be back too; she signed on for multiple movies when she was added to the Pitch Perfect 2 cast.
Kay Cannon, who wrote the first two films, is reportedly in talks to write the third film. While Elizabeth Banks is returning to produce the film, it’s unknown as yet if she’ll sit in the director’s chair again. Banks directed Pitch Perfect 2, which has taken around $260 million at the box office worldwide.
