Ratchet and Clank's E3 trailer introduces our heroes

In case you’re unfamiliar with Ratchet & Clank, the E3 trailer for the upcoming game based on the movie based on the game introduces Ratchet, Clank, and Captain Qwark.

The trailer shows off the world, some of its colourful characters, and the weird and wacky weapons we’ll get to play around with. It wouldn’t be a Ratchet & Clank game from Insomniac without them. The Pixelator and Rocket Launcher look like they’ll be fun to use.

In Ratchet & Clank, our heroes must battle to save the Solana Galaxy from the evil Chairman Drek. Fairly standard fare, then.

The new game is based on elements from the original Ratchet & Clank from the PlayStation 2 era. It’s being developed alongside a major motion CG-animated picture, which will be released in April, 2016.

Ratchet & Clank will be released on PlayStation 4 in spring 2016. We’re likely to see more from the game at E3 next week.
