Super Meat Boy will be free at launch on PS4 and PS Vita

Tommy Refenes, one half of developer Team Meat, made the announcement on the PlayStation Blog. He said that it’s going to be free at launch as a way of saying, “Thank you for waiting patiently.”

PlayStation 3 owners were denied the chance to play Super Meat Boy “for very complicated reasons.” Team Meat found a way to be able to bring the experience to PlayStation fans. He said that it took “a lot of hard work, a little convincing, and huge scoops of luck.”

It all means that Super Meat Boy will be released on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita “later this year.” Team Meat also released a trailer to accompany the announcement. It tells you absolutely nothing about the game, but showcases the personalities responsible for Super Meat Boy.

Don’t worry; there are more traditional trailers for Super Meat Boy. Well, maybe you should be worried; there are a lot of saw blades!
