Pixar's The Good Dinosaur's teaser explores an alternative reality

Millions of years ago, an asteroid crashed into earth, killing every dinosaur on the planet. But what if the asteroid missed? That is the premise of Pixar’s upcoming animated film, The Good Dinosaur.

This premise is brilliantly visualised in the teaser as a herd of dinosaurs turn their heads to see an asteroid blaze overhead.

The teaser for The Good Dinosaur gives us some idea as to what to expect from the film. As you can see from the teaser, man and dinosaur live side-by-side. And in this case, it seems to work out pretty well.

Pixar has wrangled up an impressive cast too. The Good Dinosaur features the vocal talents of Judy Greer, Neil Patrick Harris, Bill Hader, Frances McDormand, and John Lithgow among others.

The Good Dinosaur hit production issues, which delayed its release. But it’s now on course to be released on November 27th, 2015. It’s shaping up to be a good year for Pixar fans with Inside Out in cinemas in July and then this at the end of the year.
