Fallout 4 definitely not coming to PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360

If you want to play Fallout 4, you’re going to need a PC, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One. Bethesda says that Fallout 4 will never be released for PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

Community manager Matt Grandstaff took to NeoGAF to explain that Fallout 4 will not be released on last-gen consoles. "It is not coming to 360 and PS3," he wrote. “The stuff we're doing will never work there."

Bethesda’s own Fallout teaser site contained website code that many believed meant that it would be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. But the fact that Bethesda has actually commented on the rumour means it has been shot down completely.

Fallout 4 was revealed last week. It will be set in Boston, or a post-apocalyptic version of Boston at least.

Bethesda hasn’t announced a release date for Fallout 4. Expect that to be revealed at E3 where we’re expecting to hear a lot more about the game.
