Those who pre-ordered Hatred can play it early
Destructive Creations has stopped taking pre-orders for the upcoming release of Hatred. And it has a special treat for anyone who pre-ordered it. Anyone who bought Hatred early will be able to download and play it on May 29th, three days ahead of its official release.Destructive Creations Creative Director Jaroslaw Zielinski thanked fans for their support. He said, “Thanks to your votes, tons of e-mails and spreading the word on the web, we gained a lot of visibility, new followers and finally managed to finish the project!”Fan support actually resulted in Valve changing its mind on its decision to release the game. The controversial game was removed from Steam despite Greenlight support. However, Gabe Newell later reversed the decision.GOG.com meanwhile has stuck to its guns and will not be distributing the game.Hatred will officially be released on June 1st on Steam and Desura. Those who pre-ordered it will be able to download and play it from May 29th.
