OnePlus 2 could match HTC One M9's power
The latest information was found on benchmarking site Geekbench. It outlines the specs that the handset is likely to feature.Apparently, the OnePlus 2 will feature an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8994 chip, which translates to the Snapdragon 810 SoC, and a hefty 3GB RAM. This is the same processor found in the likes of the HTC One M9 and LG G Flex 2.The benchmark also says that the OnePlus 2 will arrive with Android 5.1 Lollipop. That’s great news on the software front.These specs fall in line with previous reports. Of course, nothing has been officially revealed just yet.The OnePlus One was a surprise hit last year with impressive specs and a mid-range price tag. Many are hoping that OnePlus can repeat the trick. However, there are reports that the OnePlus 2 will feature a fingerprint scanner, which could increase the handset’s price.
