The grand final was held in Munich, Germany this week. Alshehri was certainly one of the more confident competitors when interviewed ahead of the final day.And his confidence was well placed. He beat France's Julien Dassonville 3-0 in the final. Dassonville had previously taken out FIWC 2014 champion August Rosenmeier, but couldn’t press on from there.25-year-old Alshehri said that winning the FIWC was a dream come true. He had previously competed at the FIWC finals in 2012 and 2013, and says these experiences gave him more experience and the ability not to lose his nerve at crucial moments.Alshehri takes home the FIWC title and will be given the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of football’s elite players at next year’s Ballon d’Or in Zurich.
