Regional events will be held across America before a finale in Los Angeles at E3 itself. Nintendo announced its return with a goofy video, which only it could get away with. In it, Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime starts his preparation with some of Nintendo’s games…and a dud.Nintendo will not host a traditional press conference at E3. Once again, it plans to stream something similar to its Nintendo Direct broadcasts.Gameplay from new titles will be streamed via its Treehouse Live stream from the E3 floor and there will be a digital event too. Last year, there were many new games shown off in greater detail during the Treehouse Live stream than Nintendo could during its main digital event. The following video is cheesy, but it’s also incredibly delightful to see a games company take this kind of approach these days. The only thing that would have made the internet happier was if Reggie had uttered the immortal words, “My body is ready.”
