The Division delayed until 2016

Tom Clancy's The Division, Ubisoft’s take on a post-apocalyptic survival game, has been pushed back until 2016.

The Division delayed until 2016

The publisher revealed that it will be released in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2016. That’s the quarter ending March 31st, 2016, so we may have some time to wait. The Division was shown off at E3 2014 and instantly became one of the most anticipated titles of the show. It was later pushed back to a 2015 release window and now, almost a year after that delay was announced, it is being pushed back again.A Ubisoft spokesperson told Eurogamer that this delay will give the developers additional time to “fully fulfill their creative vision.” They added, “This decision proved right on Watch Dogs which clearly outperformed the targets we had set up for its original FY14 launch.”The Ubisoft investor report says that Rainbow Six Siege and an unannounced AAA title will launch in the same window as The Division. That’s assuming there are no delays for any of the three titles, of course. While it’s being delayed, we expect that The Division will make an appearance at E3 this year in some capacity.
