Leak - New Assassin's Creed game is called Syndicate and set in Victorian England
That isn't likely be repeated for 2015, with the main game probably only hitting new-gen and PC, but we do know that Ubisoft is planning a big reveal of their latest title on Thursday the 14th of May.If you can't wait until then, a good chunk of info has already leaked. Because you just can't keep a secret on the internet anymore!Polygon has the scoop which confirms that Assassin's Creed 2015 will be set during the age of the Industrial Revolution in London - roughly the late 1700s to mid 1800s. That's a time of massive change in the capital and should make for some very different environments to traverse. They've also found out a name - the game will be subtitled 'Syndicate.' Presumably you'll be dealing with some kind of massive organisation in the story, which doesn't sound overly thrilling. And the latest ancestor you'll be playing as is Jacob Frye, who wears a shilling coin around his neck in the game - and you can get a replica as part of the pre-order bonus at GameStop. That's the bulk of the info which is available right now, so you should expect a very attractive CG trailer with some in game footage to debut later this week.
