Hugh Bonneville won't rule out Downton Abbey movie appearance
If creator Julian Fellowes gave the film the go-ahead, Bonneville might be on board. āI donāt know, I mean show me the money. Show me the script, more importantly,ā he said to the Press Association at the Bafta Television Awards. The 51-year-old British actor says he has mixed feelings about Downton Abbey coming to an end. He said, āItās become such a part of all our lives both in front of the camera and behind.āHe added, āBut Iām really pleased Julian has known when to finish it, to quit while youāre ahead, while it still seems a lovely thing, and hopefully it will be around on peopleās shelves for years to come, but itās the right time to finish.āFellowes himself has said that itās important that Downton winds up at the right time.Itās unclear if Fellowes will actually have enough time to pen a script for a movie. He is set to start work on the New York period drama, The Gilded Age.
