Boba Fett is getting his own Star Wars film

There's a new Star Wars film due in cinemas this December but that's just the beginning of an onslaught of entertainment from the galaxy far, far away.

Boba Fett is getting his own Star Wars film

The Force Awakens hits in late 2015 and the end of 2016 will see a totally new tale being told in the form of Star Wars Anthology Rogue One. That's about a band of scallywags stealing the plans for the original Death Star but it won't stop there. Disney is planning a new Star Wars film every year for at least the next six years, with the sequel trilogy every second year interspersed with spin off flicks. And we're getting word that the 2018 spin-off (ie after the Rian Johnson directed episode 8 in 2017) will be all about Boba Fett. The character chronolgically first turned up in 2002s Attack of the Clones but true Star Wars fans will always remember him for his badassery in The Empire Strikes Back and his fairly crappy death in Return of the Jedi.
