Sony developing two Jump Street films
The Men in Black crossover film is essentially 23 Jump Street. While 21 Jump Street took shots at Hollywood reboots, and 22 Jump Street poked fun at sequels, 23 Jump Street will have fun with shared movie universes.23 Jump Street will see Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum join the Men in Black to investigate aliens. It’s unclear if Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones or Josh Brolin will reprise their roles for the film or even make a cameo. One can hope.Many fans will be hoping that the crossover will lean more on Jump Street’s comedy, which was R-rated, rather than Men in Black’s, which is more family friendly.As for the female-driven spin-off, the report speculates that Dakota Johnson could star. She already played an officer in the original film. The report also suggests that the film may feature female talent from Comedy Central, including cast members from Broad City.
