Marvel teams up with Telltale Games for 2017 release
Telltale is seen as the perfect partner because it meets Marvelâs standards for storytelling, according to executive producer Mike Jones. Marvelâs executive vice president also highlighted that âMarvel is about storytelling.âOf course, neither side was willing to say too much. Marvel didnât reveal the name of the game or what properties Telltale will be working its magic with. Meanwhile, Telltale simply wrote, âWe'll be teaming up on the development of an upcoming Telltale game series project set to premiere in 2017!"Marvel has a pretty packed slate of cinema releases over the next few years. Telltale Games certainly has a rich catalogue to work with, though weâre curious to see how the studioâs distinctive style fits in with the Marvel universe.Telltale seems to be the go-to studio for storytelling games at the moment. It is currently releasing episodes from Game of Thrones and Tales of the Borderlands, while other projects, including a Minecraft game, are in the works.Marvel and Telltale Games will work together to develop an unspecified video game, which will be released in 2017. We're excited already.
