Watch Game of Thrones' Tywin Lannister voice act for The Witcher 3
Game of Thrones’ Tywin Lannister, known by his friends as Charles Dance, lends his vocal talents to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as Emhyr var Emreis, the mighty Emperor of Nilfgaard. You can watch some of his performance thanks to this in-studio video.The video goes behind the scenes, showing Dance perform lines and getting his take on his character. He describes his character as “a very, very powerful man,” if not “the most powerful man.”This is the first video game that he has performed in, a “whole new world” if you will. He says the experience is quite exciting. And, from the looks of it, he’s a natural. Dance’s voice certainly seems like a good fit for the character.Dance’s involvement in The Witcher 3 was announced back in 2013. It’s great to finally see him in action.The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released on May 19th.
