Star Wars: Battlefront reveal will be streamed
If you’re a Star Wars fan and eagerly awaiting the first trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront, make sure you’re in front of your computer tomorrow. EA and DICE will reveal the game tomorrow during a presentation as part of the Star Wars Celebration event.The Star Wars Celebration website says that DICE will show fans how “Star Wars: Battlefront will give them the chance to live out their epic Star Wars battle fantasies.” The developer was given “unprecedented access to the Lucasfilm archives” and used this to good effect to create an incredibly immersive experience. Of course, we’ll judge for ourselves when the trailer arrives and then when the game is released.The presentation will take place on Friday, April 17th at 18:30GMT. The Battlefront panel is expected to last an hour.The Star Wars Celebration kicks off today at 18:00GMT and runs until April 19th. The event, which will include a panel with Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy; discussions with actors from the franchise, including Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, among others; and live interviews with celebrity guests.Battlefront is expected to be released this holiday season on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. As reported earlier, Battlefront will be available to play first on Xbox One via EA Access.DICE and EA will unleash a Star Wars: Battlefront trailer on Friday, April 17th as part of Star Wars Celebration. The panel will be live-streamed.
