The Rock comes to TV with Ballers on HBO - Entourage meets Football!

Dwayne The Rock Johnson is making his way to TV very soon for Ballers - a show about a former pro American footballer turned agent

The Rock is still a massive box office draw, helping to ressurect franchises like Fast and Furious and going about the Earth being generally giant and genial.And he's also heading to the smaller screen, which we hope will cope with his monsterous proportions.Senor Rock will appear in his first major TV role in Ballers, from HBO. It's about a group of former and current football players including Dwayne Johnson as Spencer Strasmore, who now helps other players figure out how to spend their money. There are plenty of big names involved with this show, including Mark Wahlberg as executive-producer, helping to make the series feel ever more like a ball-related cousin of Entourage as it also share the 30 minute running time format.Here's the first trailer for Ballers, which looks glossy as hell.
