Watch Dwayne Johnson star in SNL`s Bambi skit
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars as Bambi, and actually features in the skit, with many of his Fast and Furious co-horts making up the rest of his furry friends. It’s certainly a grittier version of the 1942 classic, which was pretty dark to begin with.In this version of the story, Bambi is all grown up and out to exact revenge on the hunters. There are some amazing pun-filled lines, references to Fast and Furious, and jokes based on some of the other actors – at least it’s not just us who need subtitles for Vin Diesel from time to time.SNL’s Bambi even gets a theme tune for the modern age titled “Wham Bam Bambi.” Yep, it’s exactly what you would expect from “Ludacris,” played by Jay Pharoah in this instance.
