Halo 5 will be released in October
The conclusion of the ad sees Agent Locke walking through a human city that has been reduced to rubble. He finds Master Chief sitting at the base of a statue of himself with a massive hole in the upper left shoulder of his armour. Agent Locke blames him for the destruction around them, saying that he was humanity's saviour and now betrayer. He draws his pistol, aims it at Chief, and then the Halo 5 logo appears.A second ad was aired during a later commercial break from the perspective of Master Chief with the roles reversed. Chief approaches a wounded Locke, asking him if "it was all worth it." You can see the Master Chief version of the ad below.Microsoft is grabbing an earlier release for Master Chief’s first native Xbox One outing. Most Halo titles have been released in November in the past. This does have a knock-on effect. Currently, Microsoft doesn’t have a first-party title confirmed for November. We’re sure this will change in the very near future.
