VIDEO: This guy dropped a gold iPhone 6 into a lava lamp - on purpose

We’re really not sure why someone would do this.

TechRax - a tech blogger - decided to drop an iPhone 6 into a lava lamp to see what would happen. And not just a regular iPhone 6(which would be bad enough). No, he chose to drop a gold-platedversion. Actual gold.

*shakes head*

Not surprisingly, things go badly - the phone explodes and he's left with one hell of a mess.

The video warns you to not try this at home but we doubt you would be fool enough to consider it.
