Cities: Skylines sells 250000 copies in a single day
Paradox didn’t hold back when announcing the news on its forum declaring that the “Newly Crowned King of City Builders” managed to break previous sales records. CEO of Paradox Interactive, Fredrik Wester, was understandably delighted with the news. He thanked fans for their support and said that the team is committed to supporting the game “for years to come.”He was full of praise for developer Colossal Order. They have worked together for several years on titles like Cities in Motion and Cities in Motion 2. He said that he is “happy to see such a talented team now being widely applauded for their unmatched passion and skill.”Cities: Skylines is clearly scratching an itch that wannabe city builders have had for some time. The release may also point to the value of having large YouTube channels take a look at the game and show it to their audience.Cities: Skylines is now available on Steam.
