After being sold off by Sony, laptop brand Vaio is entering the smartphone market with the launch of its first Android smartphone, the cleverly titled Vaio Phone.

The Vaio Phone features a 5-inch 720p display, with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, and 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage by default, but you can expand this by up to 64GB with a microSD card. The Vaio Phone has a 13 MP camera sensor on the back, but no word as to what the front-facing camera is like.Vaio says the phone’s design is “simple and stylish.” To translate that for you, it has a plastic body with curved sides and a flat glossy back panel.The Vaio Phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
