Gary Shore Video Interview - Dracula Untold
It's the first feature from Irish director Gary Shore who graduated fromDún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology in 2006. He spent time honing his skills on music videos in Europe before heading into the world of commericals where he's worked on spots for brands like Adidas.But it was a faux trailer relased in 2009 for a speculative live action anime which earned him the attention of Universal Pictures, eventually leading to him signing a three picture deal. The first of those films is Dracula Untold and we got the chance to talk to Shore about the film ahead of the Dublin premiere yesterday.It turns out this was the first time he was going to experience the movie with an audience and we also talked about taking on his first feature, some deleted material, his dream project and his thoughts on more monster movies from Universal.
