Domhnall Gleeson Interview - Ex Machina Sci-fi and Star Wars!

Irish fellow Domhnall Gleeson is having a heck of a time, from standing in the background in a few Harry Potter films to getting his period on in Anna Karenina, being funny in About Time and doing a little sci-fi in Dredd, Never Let Me Go and even TV's Black Mirror. His latest is Ex Machina, which is also written by Alex Garland (as was Dredd and Never Let Me Go) and also marks the English writer's first foray as a director. It's a smart sci-fi about a young man (played by Gleeson) who is tasked with deciding whether he believes a humanoid robot really has consciousness.Things get dark and twisty pretty quickly.Gleeson is currently in Dublin starring with his dad and brother in play The Walworth Farce and he took a break to chat about his new film. Here he is being very eloquent on Sci-fi, technology, AI and bleeding Star Wars!
