Lenovo brings tablets with cinematic sound to MWC 2015

Lenovo brought two A-series tablets, the 10-1-inch Tab 2 A10-70 and the 8-inch Tab 2 A8, to Mobile World Congress. Both of these feature Dolby's "cinematic and lifelike" Atmos sound.

The Tab 2 A10-70 features a full-HD display and a multi-speaker soundbar along the bottom. This, according to Lenovo, produces rich and powerful sound. It is 8.9mm thick and weighs 590g. It also features an 8 megapixel camera and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The Tab 2 A10-70 will be released in April for around $280.The Tab 2 A8 is an 8-inch model, which runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and features a dual-SIM card slot so users can make calls. It comes with 32GB of internal storage by default, expandable with microSD cards. Unlike its larger counterpart, the Tab 2 A8 has a 5 megapixel camera. The Tab 2 A8 will be released in June and will cost around $200.Lenovo also brought the Ideapad Miix 300 to Mobile World Congress. The 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet features a 1,920 x 1,200 pixel-resolution display. It is powered by an Intel Atom CPU and features up to 64GB of flash-based storage.
