Realising that Rock Band fans invested a lot of money in their games, the new title will support old peripherals and will allow players to import songs from PS3 and Xbox 360. More than 2,000 classic songs will be supported at launch.The Dev Diary gives plenty of insight into current life at Harmonix and hints at what players might expect from the upcoming game. The interviewed team members keep their cards close to their chest, but you can see that they’re bursting to say something. Apparently, there are a lot of features that they want to talk about, but can’t just yet. All that was said is that Rock Band 4 will expand on the feeling of playing a live gig with your band mates. Rock Band 4’s project manager told Eurogamer that there will be greater collaboration between players rather than “playing your part with blinders on.”Expect Rock Band 4 to be a more social game than others in the series, which are thought to be the seminal party games.
