Innovation Minister Damien English to launch new networking site for creative digital companies

Damien English, Minister for Skills, Research and Innovation will be there to launch the project, along with representatives from several different Cork based creative digital companies.
The CDNC provides networking opportunities for companies, start-ups and academics which are engaged in digital media and the creative industries, and is part of the Interreg IVC Medi@tic project, led by CIT.
Designed by Granite Digital, the website will make it easier for members of the CDNC to collaborate by sharing ideas, research and business opportunities.
The aim of this new project is to raise awareness and promote enterprise growth within the Creative Digital sector in the region.
The Medi@tic project provided ideal opportunities to harness the talents of everyone involved in digital and creative media fields to support the development of local multimedia enterprises and ensure that they are able to share in the global growth and protect employment in this sector.
CIT has already hosted three industry events with local stakeholders to help local businesses improve their networking activities and the new site will be a key factor in encouraging an active and dynamic community.
The launch the CDNC and website will be held at the Rubicon Centre in CIT’s Bishopstown Campus on Tuesday February 3 at 1pm.
