Software firm to open Belfast office

INDIAN software development company Polaris Software Lab is to open an office in the Northern Ireland Science Park in Belfast, creating up to 158 quality software development jobs over the next three years.

Polaris will establish a nearshore software development centre in Belfast to complement its existing centres in India, New Jersey and Singapore.

Targeting the banking and financial services sector, the centre will be backed by financial assistance of €2.2m from Invest Northern Ireland.
