THE telecommunications market is failing to meet growing business demands, the Chambers of Commerce of Ireland (CCI) warned yesterday.

But despite the failings of telecoms market and the tech slump, small-and-medium-sized firms are still embracing new technology, according a CCI survey.

“A total of 61% of companies surveyed said that they would use the internet more if an always on flat rate service was available,” said CCI Digital Business Council chairman Annrai O’Toole.
