Schools Technology competition winners

SCHOOLS Technology Competition winner Daire O’Shea, of Ballinora National School, was presented with his prize by the Lord Mayor, Cllr Deirdre Clune, at gala ceremony in City Hall yesterday.

Daire received a HP Desktop PC, while the two runners-up, Daniel Rowell of St James NS, and Sophie Emerson of St John the Baptist NS, received an MP3 player in the competition organised by Eircom total ICT, in association with Connect Cork.

Over 220 submissions were received from pupils in Cork city and county.
