Martin opens technology park

ENTERPRISE Minister Michael Martin yesterday officially opened a technology park which has the potential to create 3,500 jobs over the next 15 years.

The 30-acre Information Age Park in Ennis is part of a necklace of technology parks operated by Shannon Development in the Shannon region.

The company has invested €11 million in the first phase of the park, which contains 45,000 square feet of office space.
