Services sector sees fastest pace of growth so far this year

AIB's Purchasing Managers Index shows last month, the services PMI had a reading of 56.7, up from the 53.5 recorded in September, marking the fastest rate of growth since December 2024

Technology, media, and telecoms remained the best performing last month.

The services sector recorded the fastest pace of growth of the year so far during October due to a sharp rise in business activity and new orders, the latest AIB Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) shows.

During last month, the services PMI had a reading of 56.7, up from the 53.5 recorded in September, marking the fastest rate of growth since December 2024.
