Lesley Whelan has been appointed as head of risk and compliance with HCS, the Irish IT managed services and digital transformation company. Lesley will lead HCS’s new governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practice, and drive its expansion. She previously held senior roles including head of risk and compliance at HLB, compliance manager at eir business (formerly eir evo), and head of IAM Cyber Services at Irish Life. She holds a HDip in Computer Science from UCD, a diploma in Business Management from Griffith College, a certificate in Cyberpsychology from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art and Design, and a Professional Certificate in Data Protection from UCD.
