Sneem Hotel to build landmark waterfront events venue on Ring of Kerry

New centre will accommodate weddings as well as conferences for up to 200 guests

The Sneem Hotel in Kerry is set to become a sought after events and wedding venue with a new multimillion-euro waterfront space to be built there. 

The new centre will be overlooking Goldens Cove on the Ring of Kerry, and is designed to accommodate up to 200 guests, offering a spectacular setting for wedding ceremonies, private celebrations, corporate events, retreats, and tour group dining experiences. 

The project is scheduled for completion in December 2027.

"We are seeing a clear and growing demand for outdoor events where people can feel a genuine connection to nature. This new waterfront venue has been designed to embrace that, allowing guests to experience the beauty, calm and atmosphere of our waterfront setting in a much more meaningful way," said Sneem Hotel general manager Nicola Duggan.

"Our location on the Ring of Kerry has always been one of our greatest strengths. This investment allows us to create a truly distinctive setting against one of Ireland's most beautiful natural backdrops."

The plan is to attact events beyond weddings, with the flexible space also able to host conferences, retreats, and cultural gatherings, and to extend the tourism season in South Kerry.
